Preparing your child for their next big step!

Schedule A Tour!

Welcome!

The goal of Main Street Preschool is to partner with families to prepare their child for their next big step, kindergarten.  A child’s family is their primary educator and Main Street Preschool wants to work with your family, creating a strong village, to provide the best possible care and guidance for your child.

We believe that early education helps lay a foundation of lifelong learning and allows children to discover the power of knowledge. Main Street Preschool will assist in your child’s growth and learning in ways that best suit their unique mind.  We will provide a safe, nurturing environment, that promotes social, emotional, and physical growth, with classroom activities that will help to develop relationships with others and the world around them.

Perhaps most importantly, Main Street Preschool strives to instill self-esteem by showing each child who they are in Christ and  to help them understand the importance of the Bible in shaping their lives.

My daughter was one of the younger ones in the class, and preschool felt like the biggest decision in the world. We could have held her off another year but she seemed to have outgrown the babysitter. I’m so happy we made the decision to send her to Main Street, she sure did thrive! As a three year old she learned how to write her name and identify most of the alphabet. She learned her colors and numbers, and got a good start on learning the months and days of the week. I have no doubts she will be ready for kindergarten after her second year. MOST importantly, she bonded with the teachers and made ‘best friends’. She woke every morning excited to go, and came home with the same energy, asking when she got to go back. She enjoyed her days because the teachers made learning fun and creative. She came home singing songs she had learned, and we would quickly find them so we could sing them at home as well. She got the love and attention she needed from the teachers to help her thrive and grow a love for learning, and for that we are very grateful for Main Street Preschool.

As a kindergarten teacher, I experience students with varied levels of background knowledge and foundational skills. I try to quickly identify students with work habits that I want to highlight and use as an example for other students. This year, I observed that most of my model students came from Main Street Preschool! Students who came from Main Street Preschool not only had academic foundational knowledge, but they had so many social and emotional self-regulation skills. I observed them to have noticeably strong stamina, a positive attitude, and strong work habits. I can’t even count the times I have heard, “ Miss Amanda taught me that!” or “ I miss my preschool teachers. They loved me so much.” Hearing things like that make me so thankful that our community has an opportunity to send their  little ones to Main Street Preschool.          - LVPS Kindergarten Teacher

My son attended Main Street Preschool for the year before he went to kindergarten. It was truly one of the best experiences for him and for me and my mommy heart. We had wanted to place him in preschool the year before but covid happened and preschool didn't. As his mommy I knew he would benefit from some type of preschool program but wasn't sure that some of the other school in the area were right for our guy. Main street was accepting kids and it was exactly what we thought he needed. We had worked with him at home so he knew letters, numbers, colors etc. but he needed to have some time with a teacher figure and kids his age. I needed someone who was going to nurture his love and curiosity of learning but also love him. This is exactly what this preschool did! They helped him be ok with being away from mommy. They helped him continue to grow his knowledge of all things age appropriate and they loved on him if he had a bad day or wasn't feeling well. I as a mommy could not have asked for a better place for my little guy to go. He loved it and so did we as parents.          -Dakneeka

Main Street Preschool is hands down the best around. The teachers are patient, kind and treat the kiddos like their own. You can tell they genuinely love their jobs and these kids. Our daughter went in without knowing a single letter and came out writing her entire name. The staff go above and beyond with fun, hands on activities to keep the kids engaged. They also do a great job of keeping parents updated with pictures throughout the day. Our daughter always begged to go back. Couldn’t say enough good things! What a blessing it was. Thank you Main Street Preschool!          -Kendra

“Main Street Preschool is the best. Walking into the classroom you can just feel that it is a positive, friendly, and caring learning environment. All of the teachers are amazing, they are so good with the kids and make an impact in their lives. This is my son's second year and we both are going to be so sad to leave when he moves on to kindergarten next fall. 10 out of 10 recommend this preschool to all my friends and coworkers.”  -Melissa
